Jon,Simon. If you havent already done so,change the steering arm bolts for M8 12.9 (allen head) if you go raking you'll find that 40mm and 50mm length often come with the correct length of shank for the arm. The hub can be tapped out quite easily with the bearing in situ but you need a first and plug tap and go carefully using plenty cutting fluid/oil the bolts need cut to the correct length so you get maximum thread engagement, despite the heat treatment making them feel like glass they cut with a sharp hacksaw. clicky linky tingy

yes and no.
possible , but if you pull the thread then its hub/arm change time which may well use up all your endless hours.
Ill send a set of bolts to Jon with his rubber plug when he sends me his postal address.
