Only fitted it a few weeks back. The trial run was the London to Brighton weekend. We made it from the most northern bit of Lincolnshire to Brighton without refuelling. Very pleased with it.
If I did it again I'd put some sort of float in it to switch the pump off automatically when the tank is empty. Having said that, the pump makes such a racket when it runs dry that you can't fail to remember to turn it off.

That is a top bit o' kit, Lenny! was the tank fabrication expensive?

He charged me sixty quid which I thought was quite reasonable. It's made out of 1mm steel which I then had powdercoated. I also used some tank sealer just to be sure.
Ideally it'd be made out of alloy to make it a bit lighter but it's not too heavy as it is.
