i get it every now and then when i come off a roundabout. its hard to explain! i thought it might be the inner wing rubbing on the tyre because i bent it a bit when i took it off and put it back on.

Probably driveshaft joints but maybe worn kingpins rubbing on the rear of a knackered wheel? However if it was that bad I'd guess it would be all the time and not just round corners? Get it to a car park and drive round in circles both ways and see if you can narrow it down. You might aswell check the obvious like inner wing on chassis/suspension arms aswell... My inner wing is rubbing somewhere at the moment and I can't track it down

It'll be your inner part of the wheel where the wheel's seam is rusted and lifted just enough to clout the kingpin at the bottom when you go round corners due to a tiny amount of movement as the weight goes onto that wheel. Quick fix = bash the raised bits of seam back down and de-rust ,proper fix= new wheel .

Be a good idea to whip the wheel off and tap the seams down with a hammer where they are raised with rust then try it just be to double sure.
