Post Oz duck wannabe
This 2CV is heading down under to continue her life but the rust needs removing before. It will be a Personal Import so the 2CV doesn't need to comply with ADR (Australian Design Rules) except be roadworhty.

This French rivert repair job will be rejected in Oz. What do I find underneath?

The real surprise is that it's not taken the chassis out, too...

WHY DO THEY DO IT?

Chassis is galvanized. I guess they just changed the chassis and ignored the rust by plating it. I showed it to one of our french customers and he said, ''so what'' normal to him :o

Yes, no need to replace the complete lower pedal floor. Must times it is only these panels which are rotten.

Goodbye right floor and sills. New tomorrow.

Cheers Viking that's good to know. Bottom of my inner front bulkhead's going where it joins the floors (they're going too).
