 Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Ride Height. Going to try a simple limit switch with a LED indicator to show when the ride gets to its static height. Limit Switch for the left side front Strut. Attachment:

Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Milled the the gearbox flat, need to get the back welded on, and then get the shaft shortened. Gearbox is about 9cm shorter. The plan being..... to put a standard steering set up on the front, this stumpy gearbox will just fit, with the drive going under the cross tube. Well thats the plan  Attachment:

Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 @Jasu, In the past have paid silly money to get things made, small machine shops are becoming extinct here, so DIY extends the budget, Its also very satisfying. Made a dummy lay shaft, fitted the main shaft, with is new bearing, all aligned, ready to get it welded  Attachment:
