'what's the number of Footman James breakdown recovery' text came in!

yes, i got that too. i've given you that number so many times - infact the last time you wanted it was when you went to collect the Ami. what's wrong with you - the amount of times you've needed that you should know it off by heart!

The number you gave me was for the insurance company, when we rang it all we got was a recorded message telling us that they weren't open at 2am...

Funny you should mention me knowing the number off by heart, the recovery driver who eventally came out when the engine seized was the guy who took me home when the gearlever broke on the bamboo, he knew exactly where to go and didnt need to ask directions....

I have the number programmed into my phone...in order to be able to forward it onto Russ every time he breaks down.

Did you really get a Chinese Lantern? Blimey, it got a long way from Matlock Bath!

Just taken it up the road to get some beers in.

Drives ok, starter motor on its way out though, but nothing major.

It's hard to say, you tend to drive Amis differently to 2cvs because they are heavier and feel a bit different, it doesn't feel bad, I'm taking it to work tomorrow and then for it's MOT friday, apart from the starter which is playing up it feels good!

High is the new low.
