No error window pops up, just the sound, the program shows up in the bloody task manager but nothing else happens.

Try on a computer/laptop at the university maybee it works over there!!!

Took a drive to my work on your unit today, it is working fine..........

Was a slow drive today, about 10cm of snow on the road, not a problem for me and my car but for all other drivers........

What a lovely photo - I will only have to alter the top right hand side - for 4200rpm on wards from 28 deg to 22 deg etc etc.....

Post Re: 1-2-spark
Yes you are right that will do the trick!!!

When it works like it looks it must be good... 8-) 8-) 8-)

I want to programm (in the near future) that you can change the rpm-range and Map-range to your needs

rpm range 0-9999 however keep your hands of 300 rpm but the others you can change...

map range 20-250 kpa (100 is normal airpressure)

so a standard engine goes up to 100 and a boosted engine can go to
250 1.5 bar of boost... should do for 2cv I guess!!

Also I've build in a correction, when starting up the ignition within 0.1 seconds
the mapsensor messures the airpressure at that moment and converts it to 100, the atmossferic airpressure is never equal one time is 103 the other time it is 99.7 so the chip straigthens it out and brings it back to 100 on the screen....

But try to avoid cycling the ignition when the engine turns over it will give wrong numbers to the device and the advance can be a little off...

Hope you understand again what I'm trying to say....

Howerver there are sensors which can messuere 2 pressures at once
1 for airpressure 1 for engine, this will correct the airpressure live (driving up and down mountains, I have designed my pcb to use this but it will set you back anther 10 euro, so do you want this or not????

If it does NOT make the programming more difficult then yes I will have one. Not many mountains around here but alps are calling again after SPA in October 2013....

When I order new mapsensors I will try to order some to test..... should work without much trouble I guess....

made a new schematic this evening...... new things

You can place the schiftlight anywhere you want no led in the unit anymore 8-) 8-)
You can put it on the dashboard for instance..

1-2-spark schematic rev3.pdf

and I finished Saurus his unit (he wants an extra VR sensor normally it would be 1 piece).

Hi Geo
When you make up my kit - only need unit and map sensor as have all the rest - plus I ordered 2 spare flywheel sensors from Germany. Do I need switch? You removed from existing one and shift light not needed...

@ dyane1976, will make you 1 like you had before, without switch and shiftlight (I can't drive without it anymore but hey who am I).......

At the moment I'm bussy to make a deal for a batch of 10 production units, soldered together profesionally... but the bussiness is coming up with new demands all the time....

So they now want a soldermask so the soldering gets easier for them.... So another 2 days back to the drawing board making new PCB layout, hope this will do...

This saturday I will go to a meeting which is called the A-markt in Gemert.... I will give a demonstration with my 2cv and laptop and my wifes son will also take his Peugeot 205
(which runs almost like a GTI ;) ;) at the moment on 1-2- spark) theres real improvement in torque and power output...

Like Mark 4x4 Lewis said about his car I can only confirm.... the original ignition is feeling sluggish after once driven on 1-2-spark, this takes place for all cars (and motorcycle I have done sofar)...
