 Re: Spain 2013
Bank Transfer, which cost me £8.00 on top of 80 Euro. Sucks, but it's done.
I need to use DOS 2cv SPAIN DOS MIL TRECE as the account name - UK banks don't like numbers in the account name.
Now I've got 18 months to save for the ferry / fuel!

Got to tax me motor this month, but I'd like to get this mother booked up. I have a good feeling about this.

Hi Kittens
Thought I'd pop in to say watchaaaa and read the rumblings about Spain! I figured I'd better check it out as I should start saving now, because I am a poor ski bum now. Has anyone had a look at ferry prices? Dreamt up a nifty root? I am all for stealing your ideas, and the glory. I have missed you lot, it has been far too long! Thanks to Martin Voyle D*lly has been resurrected and as long as it behaves, hopefully I'll be allowed out to play this summer!

 Re: Spain 2013
I'm thinking of doing the drive in one go, or possibly stopping in Bordeaux overnight. Maybe a more relaxed drive back home and do that in a couple of days. it's 820 miles from le havre. I reckon it's going to be a good meeting but I'm really looking forward to the racing, hoping to work for a UK team out there.
Certainly something to look forward to during this miserable summer we're having...

 Re: Spain 2013
2013 World meeting Spain
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi all, I've just carried out a feasibility study on going to the WM in Spain. 1 X 2cv (no trailer/no roof rack) 2 x people.
(prices subject to change within the next 12 months)
route 1. Portsmouth to Le Havre-£154--------------drive--733 miles avoiding toll roads route 2. Portsmouth to Caen-£205------------------drive --767 miles avoiding toll roads route 3. Portsmouth to Santander-£775------------drive --328 miles avoiding toll roads route 4. Portsmouth to Bilbao-£848-----------------drive--270 miles avoiding toll roads route 5. Newhaven to Dieppe-£135-----------------drive--771miles avoiding toll roads
The routes to santander & Bilbao state one must book a cabin, so with fuel & the other sundries this comes to just a gnats off £1000
I think i'll take 2 weeks off, take 4 days there, 5 days back, camping through France doing approx. 170 miles a day at leisure.
