 Re: Tyres!
I've got Toyos on all of my cars now. They grip pretty well, and I think they're good value for money. I'd run Michelin 135s all the time if I could afford to though, but I can't.

 Re: Tyres!
yeah thats the thing, i love michelins, i love 2cv's when they look original.. but we just cant justify £70 a tyre... compared to the toyos which are £28 a tyre.... dad says were definately having them! so toyos it is!

Firestone, Nankang, Toyo and Mabor are all pretty much the same. None of these tyres are like Michelin (soft compound) so the ride and handling is a bit harder due to stiffer sidewalls.

 Re: Tyres!
The only experience I have of Nankangs wasn't on a 2cv, but they lasted, from brand new, less than one hour before they were down to the canvas and big chunks were falling off them.

 Re: Tyres!
I should point out, it was probably more down to the driving and the car than the quality of the tyres, although we did take three times as long to ruin a set of Joke-ahamas which are widely regarded as very soft and easy to wear out. I'm not sure of this applies to 2cv sizes though.
