Was mentioned a few posts back, that Michelin X tyres tread, last longer than the side wall, I wish that was true.

Mine didn't last long either.
Also the new car (needs a name) has mud/snow numbers on, I'm swapping them to Seth I think, but what would their chunkyness do for the accuracy of the speedo?

Speedos are'nt particularly accurate anyway, they almost always read fast. My car shows 70mph, but is doing about 67/68mph. If you don't already have one, borrow a sat-nav and check against that(they ARE accurate, even though somebody on here may try to argue that fact  ).

Some speedometers read differently Louise, According to my satnav, the Bamboo is absolutely spot on, but some are miles out.

we have 2 Firestones on the front  and 2 uniroyal on the rear  None have let us down. The uni's were on it when we bought it and don't wear very fast. They rot out before they wear down.
