Re: Living and working in UK The UK isn't the worst place to live, or work really. We do love to moan about how shit everything is though, regardless of whether it's shit or not...
I would say if you can find work using your skills then you'll do ok, but my advice would be to make sure you have a place to work before you arrive, maybe with one of the 2cv restorers. (If that's what you want to do) so you can build up a reputation here (We know you're good, but establishing yourself will be key) before branching out on your own.
I don't know if there's a market in France for your skills, but I would think in Holland you would do very well.

I don't know if there's a market in France for your skills, but I would think in Holland you would do very well. I think, the items you mention for living and working in England apply for Holland as well. You could try and work for one of the 2CV specialists in Holland , before eventually start your own business, but beware of the wolves!! They try to make you work for less than the Dutch would get payed for. Oh, and life can be very expesive here .

So they wanna put loads extra onto fags and booze, that's shit, but they should at least put that money to reducing the price of petrol because high petrol prices increase the cost of living, and basically the cost of everything, but nah they're C U Next Tuesdays, so they ramp up the price of petrol 3p a litre, sorry I'm young and don't have much worldly experience but I can't see how that 3p a litre is gonna help any one, other than the politicians.
