Blimey, it's been a while since I updated this!

Since the lights failed on the way from being on the 2CVGB stand at the NEC, it's mostly been sat on the driveway being ignored.

However, I took it to work on Christmas eve and cleaned up all the various earths around the front panel and gave it a general look over before taking it back home, parking it on the drive and ignoring it for another week!

So, I decided to pull my finger out and do the Wye Nots New Years Day run to the Black Mountains which made me remember why I love this car! Smiles all the way.

With my enthusiasm almost at an all time low, I decided to get my arse into gear and try to do something about it.

Ideally, I'd like to book myself a ferry and bugger off around Europe for a couple of weeks in the Ami in the summer. But, as it stands, I'm not in a position to commit myself to anything like that.

So, instead, I've fallen back on an old favourite and I've signed up for this years Scally Rally GB ( http://www.scallyrally.co.uk/index.php? ... 5&Itemid=8 ) and will be taking part in the classics class.

I'm tentatively looking for a co-pilot too if anyone's interested.........?

Oh, and don't worry Simon, I'll put my own wheels and tyres back on before then-I think that would go slightly beyond 'scrubbing them in'! ;)

Been out and about in the Ami this weekend. Well, I decided the C4 was gonna be useless so what more of an excuse did I need?

We had quite a good dumping of the white stuff last night and there were cars and bloody buses stuck everywhere but I still managed to plod on without any problems.

Then this morning, BD and myself went to the 'Butty Run' in Long Itchington-first to arrive despite being furthest travelled and the car got loads of attention-I'm not sure a minute went by without a camera being pointed at it!

And, I reckon I'm gonna have to give the Ami a really thorough clean at some point!

Don't bet on it mate, I found mine was superb in the snow on the way home from work last night. I just used the 'outside' (read unused and covered in snow  ) lane on the A449 and cruised effortlessly past half a dozen cars going much slower. ESP doesn't work in snow though-Not that I need it.

WASPs tomorrow?

I started to follow an identical one to mine on Saturday night in the Ami and it was all over the shop struggling for grip. I drove onto the central reservation in the Ami and went past it.

Ami was a better choice mate.

Yup, I'll be at Wasps, yes. You picking me up then? ;)
