Hello

I would just like to share my woes with sympathetic people.

It's a short story - woke up this morning to find my 2CV gone [very sad, not
very smiley face]. So, if you see or become aware of a red, yellow and blue
harlequin style 2CV registration C982 PAB that could have been taken from
Blackburn, Lancashire overnight, I'd appreciate it if you'd let the police
know. It would probably be on a trailer or being towed as it hasn't been
used for a month or so and would need a bit of coaxing to start.

Another one ,and taken with a trailer,what can we do to secure our cars (apart from park them in a garage).

Bloody hell. Spotted this a few times zipping round. I'll keep a look out and invest in a steering wheel clamp thing. Not that it'll stop 'em, but it'd probably make me feel better.

I will fit the remote control battery cut off switch this weekend.It wont stop them putting my car on a trailer and towing it away,but I will feel happier knowing that if they break into it,they wont be able to start it.Or move it with the handbrake lock on.

Hi All.

Good news she got her car back.

Some guy knocked on their door one night and asked them to move the car it was blocking the entrance to his garden.

The toerags had smashed the the ignition switch and steering lock and tried to push start it, but dumped it in some back alley where it was not visible from the main road.
