I've got no basses, but there's a reasonable collection of 1960s and 1970s Jap plywood guitars downstairs, including a Zenta, a Jedson and a Teisco Del Rey. As well as a Ratocaster and an electric mandolin.

My band covers a couple of Jam songs - Down in the Tubestation and Eton Rifles - on first hearing sound mighty difficult bass riffs but are actually quite easy to play.....

Completely O/T - My basses....anyone else with any nice instruments?

For the record, they are:

1990,s Jap Precision - the paisley one
1975 Black Precision
2008 Black Highway 1 Precision
1976 Mocha Jazz
2006 Orange Jazz
2007 Natural Jazz

Impressive collection! I have a cheapo (but surprisingly high quality) Korean Precision copy that I bought as a kit for tuppence-ha'penny a couple of years ago. I'll add some decent pickups and circuitry when I get round to it. I own a couple of electric non-basses: a Pacifica 411 and a home assembled Esquire made from Fender parts, but with a noisy DeMarzio humbucker and posh circuitry. Building and customising electric guitars (especially of the Fender bolt-on neck variety, is a doddle compared with fixing 2CVs. Very satisfying too.
