6 degrees? I can just about do 360 degrees where this is concerned!
I had both this and the aforementioned beige 2cv off my friend Phil (an avid Leicester City fan hence the two tone blue). His partner at the time had a Bamboo which was sold on to a strange bloke who I then bought a rev counter and lightened flywheel from which are now fitted on my racer on the driveway.
There are other connections to orhers on this forum too......

oh, thanks for clearing that up, i thought the blue was to cover up the rust! how badly rusted was it when you (two) had it?

I think there was an issue with the rear window /tailgate, but to be honest, I never really looked too closely at it, for two reasons: 1 • it was a Dyane 2 • it was only a temporary measure ( see note 1) I couldn't fault it (other than it being a Dyane) - it always started, it always ran and it gave a minimum of 40.1mpg however enthusiastically I drove it I suppose it leaked rainwater a bit, and it did once squirt fuel all over the engine bay on the drive home ( sniff, sniff, can you smell petrol?) It was a bit tatty, but there was nothing really wrong with it

Glad to see where that bodyshell ended up! You outbid me by £2  was going to use it for mine but i need to do that saving the pennies thing so good ol' mr Hollis can come over and make good use of his welding skillz!  and Oi Jonathan Owen Barwick... Joseph is a great name... ok so i hate it really...
