6 degrees? I can just about do 360 degrees where this is concerned!

I had both this and the aforementioned beige 2cv off my friend Phil (an avid Leicester City fan hence the two tone blue). His partner at the time had a Bamboo which was sold on to a strange bloke who I then bought a rev counter and lightened flywheel from which are now fitted on my racer on the driveway.

There are other connections to orhers on this forum too......

Thought I recognized it. Is the brown/beige 2CV the one that belonged to Chris and Tracy? If so, that belonged to Jon 'Spanners' too

so mark350: Mark Joseph Timson?

That's me, but John is not Spanners (that would be Jon) - John 'The Post' O'Sullivan is Tracey's other half in Leicester ;)

I think there was an issue with the rear window /tailgate, but to be honest, I never really looked too closely at it, for two reasons:

1 • it was a Dyane
2 • it was only a temporary measure (see note 1)

I couldn't fault it (other than it being a Dyane) - it always started, it always ran and it gave a minimum of 40.1mpg however enthusiastically I drove it
I suppose it leaked rainwater a bit, and it did once squirt fuel all over the engine bay on the drive home (sniff, sniff, can you smell petrol?) It was a bit tatty, but there was nothing really wrong with it
