It's be nice to get it back up and running as a nice 70s drummer again.

I can't see why anybody thought this:

As far as I know its an American varient that was exported to the US from about 1955 to 1962. It had better trim than the standard french model and was available in more colours. The dashboard would suggest that its probably based on the Belgian built 2cv. Other give aways are the rear bootlid incorparating a spare wheel compartment and the rear lights.

I quite like the look of this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/citroen-2cv6-complete-project-car-parts-2cv-citreon_W0QQitemZ170334391296QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item170334391296&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A4%7C65%3A10%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A200

Why do I have rose tinted specs when it comes to Tropical Blue?

Not sure I'd be rushing to 'buy-it-now' for £850 though.

It looks nice, apart from the obvious. It's probably worth the starting bid, but they're having a laugh with the BIN!
