Same crossings as me (and £6 cheaper  ).

Oooops!! See you in the queue, Richard. :)

There are quite a few of us on this crossing...certainly the outward one seems popular. See you on the boat !

Front page of the latest info bulletin says (in red, bold capital letters)

DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR PRE-REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION WITH YOU

so maybe you'll be ok, but I wouldn't hold out much hope.

I reckon there will be a database of names... Its 2011

Anybody on the 8:15am SeaFrance crossing on July 25th fancy meeting up at one of the M20 services and convoying the last 10 to 15-miles or so? :)

Yes, there must be. I thought of writing to them to explain that I have lost the flimsy bit of paper worth 80 euros. I've also been told that entry is bedlam so there probably wont be a problem. Will they really turn away a 2CV that has come from abroad due to the loss of the ticket?

Are you aware of the famous French attitude towards paperwork and form-filling-in? I'd suggest you turn everything in your house upside down and and have a good look for it, or at least brush up on your blagging skills!

Only when towing a 300+kg trailer-tent (which I won't be).

Just send them an email and ask! Even if they can let you in without proof of pre-booking, I'm sure it will be much quicker and easier if you can get them to send you another one beforehand.

Probably a good idea to print out your proof of payment from the website.

Not sure about times to meet up - depends how late / early I'm running :)
