Yes! One day, I will make it to Snetterton, but since it's an either/or this year, I'm going to stick to what I know and go to Oxford. Maybe next year!

More late-night character assassination in the bar then, Ken? ;)

Anyone else think that it's a right pain that these events clash nowadays? :(

Things were much more straightforward when the 24 hour was held earlier in the race season.

Anyhow, since I did Snetterton last year, it's going to be the National this year...

It's always clashed with something though, when it was back in April/may it clashed with either l2b or French national.. Pain in the bum.

Russell,
out of interest, had a look back though the dates for the 24 hour and for Mondello events, it was usually late May to mid June, good for most hours of daylight so easier to keep awake for 36 hours plus. ;)

Even in 2008, it was in early August, so it's only the last couple of years that they've settled on the August Bank holiday.

Since Roy is still the principal sponsor, I wonder if it's worth having a word?
Doubt if it ever clashed with L2B, as Roy has always had a presence there... :?

Well I did look into that. The racing club are fine with it, the circuit were fine with it, but thats about as far as I got.

As for previous dates, I'm possibly getting confused, but I'm sure it clashed with something, at some point. I'm glad its in August now though....
