Well we're more than sorted for cars that don't work properly, I can count at least two of my own. One of them is yellow too, I'm pretty sure we can make one out of the three, probably the night we leave.

 Re: Salbris 2011
I am too, it will be a good time, I've had enough of 2cving and since Giel I've lost the love more and more, everybody seems to be off doing their own thing, both my cars are boring, plus various other reasons on top. I'm really hoping that Salbris will be a return to the 2cving I've always loved, without the bullshit that's been putting me off recently.

 Re: Salbris 2011
It just all seems to have changed this last year, I went to one decent meeting in 2010, makes you lose faith in it a bit. I'm pretty sure salbris will be the shit. I want another Dunkirk/Czech to make me enthusiastic again. The scene (I hate that word but y'know what I mean) has changed and as people grow up and find other priorities it's hard to keep the devotion to an interest which then spurs you on and makes you want more. I earn almost nothing and have to spend that keeping a roof over my head and food dans la table, the tiny amount left over at the end of the week is very important to me and this last few months it's been harder and harder to justify spending it on 2cv stuff when I'm getting nothing out of it. I'm certain salbris will be the turning point though.

 Re: Salbris 2011
As things stand at the moment Salbris is looking much more likely than this time yesterday. Just had an e-mail from DFDS, £50 return weekday from end of July till beginning of September(school holiday period). Will see how the car runs over the next two weeks or so and if I feel confident by then I'll book before the 30th June(the cut-off date to book). Will look to go out on Monday 25th July and return the following Monday.
