I'm with Russ, this isn't the 2cv Club forum. Name who you want. We know that superinjunctions are totally useless when it comes to electronic media

Sintered material might well do that and blame the hand that did it, indeed why we don't sell them, if it's a steel bush then I would expect deformation before shattering.

I do hope you've told the supplier of the part about the fault, not much can be done if you don't complain directly.

Exactly ....if it had be a really tight fit (it wasnt ....the arm is rubbish anyway) then at least I would have thought it would "bend" a bit. This took a tiny tap with a drift made for the job and broke up...what I am concerned about it that the lower one is in there now and I assume made from the same material, will that break up in use ?

....and indeed Roy...it wasnt you who sold this to me !

James ..... I thought you kept your Teng tools in your bedside draw

OT draw vs drawer

All the joiners i work with refer to individual "drawers" as "A Draw" and its only the plural or the pece of furniture containing them, that are referred to as "drawers", so if James is a 60yr old time served finishing joiner/cabinet maker from Edinburgh and his bedside furniture only has one pulley outy bit then its "a draw"
Trades still use old English as "technical" language
...right of to sort out my "arras" round the "ingoes"
:D
