its all falling into place :) so looks like hjeavy flywheel will be acceptable now

my question is can i keep the box ive got in my car, or is the clutch mounted on the box not the heavy flywheel on the engine..~?

James just what is it you didn't understand in post 2

An engine with a heavy flywheel with its specific clutch will mate to any gearbox you’re likely to have.

you dont have to do anything to the gearbox, the ratios inside the box have nothing to do with the flywheel, trafficlutches or the up coming royal wedding.

and FFS they are BRAKES ;)

page bloody 5

It's been a while since James pulled a 5 page nonsense thread out of the bag. Nice one James.

Sorry James,
the boot might be on the other foot if I owned up to how my day went...
ken
( Trekking into town thinking it was Monday, then cutting through the power lead on the new hedge cutter within 10 minutes of taking it out of the box weren't the best start.
Should have stuck to the welding...
 )
