your thoughts on the car sean without meaning to sound like we want to pick faults

Hmmmm, that's a very classy looking 2CV...

Never seen a 2cv in the colour that matches my offside headlight and borrowed bonnet before!!

Personally I find 2cvs to have very light steering, well compared to my dad's old suzuki swift that I learnt to drive in...

Not that I particularly want to defend 2CV City, but having spent quite a lot of time (some of it with Sean) going over my recent acquisition, I have to say that they've done a not too bad job on it. I wish a little more time had been spent on the mechanical aspects of the car, but bodyworkwise, I'm reasonably happy with what I've got. Now that I've sorted the suspension heights out, the car generally feels better and the steering is now fine; nice and light. The leather steering wheel cover that I bought and laboriously stitched on has also helped.

There are a few engine problems left to sort out, and with Sean's help, I'll get them sorted soon. Meanwhile, I'm having great fun driving the car about; it puts a big smile on my face.

Im glad you are happy with the car, This is the time of year to make the most of them!
I think in some ways its a good thing to have an engine that requires a little bit of fettling, just because it gets you a bit more accustomed to the oily bits.
