Which one? The 100e has gone and was a bit of a bargain at the £2k I sold it for. The 2 litre pinto engine and 5 speed box made it a very lively drive.

The Model T will be worth a LOT more than that when finished. Might be a bit of a culture shock with 250BHP and 350 lb/ft of torque -but plenty of 2CV bits on it to make you feel at home.

A friend of mine's got a 100E that his Dad built just before he died. It was the bright yellow one in Classic Ford a year or two ago.

I much prefer them to the 105E that everybody else likes. 100E's look far more composed than 105E's when they're sideways or doing burnouts.

There is of course a 107E which was far the better car.

Hi All. I live in County Wicklow , Ireland and have a 2 2cv 6 . Bought it a few years ago in Dorset and have now started to tackle the rust in the front floor.toe boards have been welded over by previous owner. Chassis looks ok but without getting inside , i cant tell if its rusting inside out. naturally for me , I jumped in at the deep end and took the body off the chassis. Would like to hear from any other '' 2 Cvrs'' based in Wicklow as i would need a second opinion before I proceed. thing is the mechanical side of things dont worry me too much but i have zero experience of bodywork and ,at present, can ony look at the rust with wonderment and '' why do i do now '' feeling !
regards
william

Welcome! I think there's a couple of people on here that have either owned or built 2cv powered trikes (Ken? Dave Burdett?)

You can't go wrong with a set of dished slot mags!
