What oil should I use for the old stick? Using Castrol GTX at the mo...

That's quite dear. You can use any good quality 10W40 oil. I expect you will get some different opinions on this. ;)

Was waiting for someone to start. I use the cheapest 10.40 or 20.50 I can find in the local supermarkets. Always have done. Never had a blown engine and I drive them hard in a hotter climate than the UK. Change the filter regularly and Bob's your uncle. [or Lucy come to that]

......dam....was going to suggest "extra virgin"...but quite rare on the South Coast ! :shock:

Although my "old stick" seems to work fine without any oil :lol:

just a few blue'ys do the trick john?

as most are aware with my left wing approach to life..
i use jcb (yes the tractor jcb) 15w40 diesel oil
top dog stuff normally pricing at £50 for 20 litres
my dodgy friend.. £20 for 20 litres :D
best stuff ive ever used, but never tried that much else..
