I'm very green when it comes to engineering sizes and codes.....what exactly do i have to ask for when it start ringing round for bolts? Also, Tom Duckpower mentioned a spring? Do I need a spring washer in the mix?

Re: seat belt anchor bolts Will, ask for 7/16" UNF high tensile, of whatever length for the particular location. A spring washer is only required for 'anti-rattle' purposes, such as when shouldered bolts or bushes are fitted to allow the anchorage to pivot freely. On a 2CV or Dyane, that would be on the B posts, at the rear anchorages on the sills and the central anchorages under the rear seat.
