Russ, I'm with you and Anna. Sure, we'll enjoy it... but as I've said before I prefer smaller meetings.

I guess I ought to pull my finger out and work out what the deal is here. I realised on the 4th jan that I'd missed the cheap pre-booking, then found out on the 1st of feb that they'd extended it. Arse.

Does anyone know if it's full price now, or is it still cheaper to pre-book than to pay on the gate?

Just booked, no. 1309. Just got to sort out a crossing now.

(will be on phone again Phil....might as well go together in case I breakdown.. ..Ben...nice to met you mate...you gonna join us?)

Hi All,
Thanks for info about this, I think I just booked a few hours ago. Not had any confirmation but they seemed to take 80euros.

Not really been on a 2CV camp before, even though had the cars for 26 years.....will you all be gentle with me and not force me to drink more than one bottle of lucozade per evening?

Seriously, I live in Eastbourne (someone has too).....any one traveling from north UK or if generally of use ....and you want a free stop over, you are very welcome to stay at my place if it helps you plan your route. Dover is just down the road. Just get in touch, you can camp or crash on the floor.

John

Same boat as me going out, but I'm coming back on Sunday evening.
2CV code should have saved 10%.

Am I the only one who's not actually getting that excited about Salbris?

I'm not going, so I'm not excited about it at all. The big meetings were never really my thing, I was always more one for the winter camps like Wind Chill or Firkin Freezing.

Just a question... please don't bite my head off - but
If you aren't excited and prefer smaller meetings, why are you going? Just interested is all. :D

I'm going because I know I'll regret it if I don't, a world meeting in France is going to be a big thing and shouldn't be missed. I'm still on a comedown after Czech, because I doubt anything will touch that. I'm also a little concerned after Giel that the world meeting will be the same. Salbris 06, however was a decent meeting, so I'm keeping an open mind about it. I just don't have the same expectant buzz I've had before other meetings like Dunkirk, salbris, Czech, kelso, egletons, and all the others.
