I've got the Aldi compressor - the man at the industrial air tool supply shop called it a Mega Flow connector. He provided me with a converter to use my schutz gun for couple of quid.

Thanks twomany and mesh, that's all good info.

I'm reluctant to change all my existing 'ends' or buy adaptors for each one - I know there are the 'correct' ones out there somewhere! Armed with your info, I shall continue on my quest...

Thanks to Knightley, Twomany and Mesh I believe I've tracked them down: They are called 'Hi Flow Uni' http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pack-3-Uni-Hi-Flo ... 4155ca7298

I could kiss you all.

***cough*** (lowers voice) er, in a manly way, of course...

Ok, looking for a bit more assistance with a related issue, please... :D

I'm now confident I can get the same quick-release fittings as I have on my Argos kit, so I can also connect up my SIP spray gun to the whole caboodle (see above post). That's all fine and dandy - and thanks very much for the help.

However, I also need a similar quick-release fitting for a small cheapo 'touch-up' spray gun I got from China which I thought would be useful for doing stone-chips, etc. The female threaded inlet on this tool is smaller (by around 2mm diameter) than a 1/4" BSP female screw inlet, and it also has a noticeably finer thread pitch.

Any ideas wot size it could be?

Ta much (I'll, er, keep my kisses in check this time... )
