Yes I know that Dyane boxes can have traffic clutch but I was sure it was for drums only. Didn't know that Dyane disc boxes have the old type input shaft.

ive got a collection of short spline input shafts with both 19 and 20 teeth  think all my dyanes were disks with heavy f'wheel and short spline input S

Mind you, heavy flywheels are the business with the conditions we've got in the UK at the moment. Went over to Hull today to drop a load of chassis off at the galvanizers, then went up to a farm near Beverly to fit a pair of kingpins for a customer. They haven't been able to get the Volvo out of the farm for a week and a half, so have been depending on the 2CV. Heavy flywheel fitted to that as well, even though it's an '85 car. On little back roads, covered in frozen snow and ice, the Dyane just chugged along... ken.
