last time i did i had a look at their spec flip charts on the oil shelf to see if the 2cv was on there, it wasnt but the visa 652 was :P

1 thats marketing whats "mild extreme" its like buying a warm cold fridge!
2 yes all gearboxes are extreme pressure
3 GL -4 is the american spec its fine in a 2cv gearbox
4 gl-5 there may be some issues with some gl-5 stuff causing the brake rings wich are brass/bronze to wear but i wouldnt loose sleep over it
5 not hypoid
6 see above

that's perfect Sean thanks, i was worrying too much about it - as Ben said

EDIT - I've got Granvilles Hypoid 80/90 to GL5 - so maybe i should drain and refill.....it's an easy enough job..
