In some ways taking a 2cv to a citroen dealer is a bad move, but for sourcing LHM its not a bad call!

Of course, that's what i was saying, that they do sell it, and that i'd found it cheaper at GSF ..
I wouldn't take a 2cv to a main dealer thats for sure ,or any other older citroen :o
For me if there's anything i can't or don't have time to do myself i use chevronics, local to me citroen specialist not dealer.

Can I please just request that you don't all tar every Citroen dealer with the same brush?

Some of us are really quite "old Citroen" friendly!

You can indeed request that yes :D

TBH, i wouldnt know and am only going by local experiences ,and the perception that main dealers are in the main sales outlets with no interest or knowledge of pre-bland citroen ,so if i have unintentionally offended with my generalising any citeron dealers that arent like that i apologise. again  :D

No, I wouldn't class myself as a Citroen specialist, just someone with a slightly life absorbing hobby/obsession!

However, I work for a Citroen dealer which is part of Citroen UK and we'll take on just about any Citroen and make sure it gets sorted properly to the standards that we'd all want on our own cars.

Why is it though that people always seem to think that our only purpose in life is to be a bunch of clueless robbing bastards?

Thanks to the dealers, we are all here. Without them nobody benefits in the future
