 Re: Spa 2010
Hi, just reporting in, good times. On the sunday I thought I'd go and check out some motor racing I'd heard was going on, left a quite full camping field about midday and wondered around the track for a few hours, came back around 4 to a ghost town. The whole field had upped and gone leaving my tent looking very lonely, one of just three in the entire field!
Left just before 5pm and filled up with petrol just down the road. By 8 o'clock I was back in france and looking for fuel again.... ahhh.... Everywhere I tried was shut, including all the 24hour places, I had jerry cans in the boot containing an emergency 10 litres, but with over 300 miles still to go I was beginning to think I might have cocked-up, I had visions of living in the car in a supermarche car park, until supplies got through to the petrol station. Finally found somewhere open and filled up, pumps had a notice saying max 40 litres, sod that, 48 litres latter and a massive sigh of relief, we were ready to roll again.
Got in at 3:10 monday morning, round trip of about 950 miles, used around 140 litres of fuel, ouch!

Noone has mentioned the fails of the holiday... Only a couple but classics. FAIL #1 - Harry booked his ferry for 2011. FAIL #2 - Neil drove for an hour with his handbrake on.
