What they mean is, Graham (now building ville vans ironically) and mike (deauville cars) fell out big time in what I can only describe as 'difference of opinion' they even traded opposite ends of the arena at the national if you noticed?

Does not compute? ;)

It certainly helped me save money as I find all those plastic things (in fairness, with the exception of the jeepy thing like yer dads) offensive to the eye so stayed almost completely away from the trading area except Ecas where I saw Andy.

That actually scared me off site entirely! ;)

I think that with out wanting to blow my own horn or anything, dads is by far the best that's been produced for the simple fact all the others have been chopped about to try a new idea, every year there is a new model where I think thought should focus on producing something that works and stick at it rather than use a demo car for trial and error

fair enough, but why convert a 2cv in to a van? why not get a 2cv van in the first place?

Never seen a convincing answer to this question. The first bit of a 2CV to rot is the bottom of the bulkhead, front floors and sills, followed by a few lower parts of the back of the car. These vans are a waste of money. You can get a good 400 or Acad for half what it'd cost to build one of these sham-vans. I fail to see the point. Haven't a couple of folk on 2CVGB hacked up decent 2cvs to make these things then fail to get them on the road for legal reasons?
