Eduardo Sal Lari (IES= Industrias Sal Lari = Sal Lari Industries) bought what was left of Citroën Argentina and began to build cars with parts that were in stock without the permission of Citroën. For that reason, he couldn´t use the name Citroën. The adventure finished six years later. In these years the 3CV became in America (an ugly restyling but remaining a 3CV) and, at last, in Super América which changed all the good of a Citroën (chasis, suspensions). Also, he tried to built his own cars using the Super América's frame. They were the Gringa, a pick-up with a nice fiberglass body and the Gringo, wich were built just a few prototypes an 4x4. Sal Lari finished in jail for fraud (very rare in Argentina!).

OK...nothing amazing here....but I took the day off!!!

Eastbourne isnt the greatest place on earth, but I live here for now...and yes there are some really good places to chill out (honestly...insider knowledge!!!!!)

I live here at the moment, and so occasionally it is nice to be self indulgent and skive for a day and go and have some fish and chips by the sea!.....

So a fantastic time by the sea with the green machine.

Very happy....this is exactly why I enjoy and love this passion :D :D :D ...I enjoy my 2CV....because it is all pure pleasure and yet again it made me smile from one ear to another!!! :D

Anyone ever fancy a quick escape to the south coast....let me know...can meet up, show you some good places, have a coffee, a beer, talk 2CVs and happy to put you up for the night if you want a floor to sleep on.

Hmmm...feeling very happy!!...because the pleasure was time enjoying the car....it made the excuse for a great day.
