To turn this thread around, Between now and the National in august I'll be travelling from western france to the UK, if anyone sees anything they fancy on french ebay or leboncoin, and it'll fit in the boot of a car give me a shout and I'll see if it's on route.

Hi if anyone live near Gargrave, North Yorkshire, that could collect a roof rack for me that i want to buy on ebay?

plus do normal Citroen 2cv roof racks fit straight on to dyanes on the gutter like normal?

The 2cv rack will NOT fit a Dyane. I believe the Dyane racks fixes to the guttering whereas a 2cv rack has 4 seperate clamps that attach directly to the 'shell underneath the hood.

George does that mean you won't be bidding on the rack?
There's one in Axbridge Somerset that's cheaper but too far away for me.
