On the plus side changing a king pin is quite do-able, esp if you can find some experienced help, so fingers crossed! Are you in a local group or anything, tried asking there?

Good plan, you'll feel great once its done, like changing points, its one of those jobs where you finish it feeling like you mastered something that baffled you before!

I did my points and timing not so long ago

I just have no idea how to do a kingpin so buying the tool would be pointless as id only screw it up!

I have two kingpins on my bedside table, so i may change both, depending how bad they are, !

I saw it many times

well i refused to eat indian. Cos i said i didnt like curry my mum then asked me what i wanted. I said i fancied some chickeb korma. Doh :( lol
