AFAIK, there is/was a Swiss chap called Eugene Weber who built 5-speed gearboxes using the standard 2cv 'box casing. He would custom build them using the ratios that the customer specified. Eugene passed away some years ago, son Peter took over.

Re: Gearboxes for numties i dont partically fancy a 5th gear, if i got offerend a box with a 5th in i wouldnt say no, but i wouldnt go out my way for it, just wondered what peopls views where!
