Was that vehicle a prototype or was it adopted for full production?

Also, what is the story with the front hubs?

I think it was so they could hook em onto ropes and carry them by helicopter

The hubs are for carrying indeed, full production i don't know.
This one was for commander Babot and named Jules like his helicopter.
Was used in the Algerien war.

Home made switchable supercharger, fuel injection and electronic ignition.

Talking to the guy, he told me he designed and built the engine breathers that ECAS sells now.

Clever chap, although I'd much sooner have seen it in the front of a 2cv... ;)
