yeah, lower a little bit, if anything just get the front down 4" or so, and the back about 3. useable without turned arms. thats the main thing, i have ZERO dollar for turned arms and uprated springs/shocks. how many turns of the tie rod will equate to that much drop do you think?

 Re: White wall tyres
What I'd do, is wind it out all the way first, and then see how much is in the shackle still, then if you can, take it about 25 turns out of the front, 15 out of the back (from the original position.
P.S. Turned arms don't cost anything!

P.S. Turned arms don't cost anything! i might have to get some wd40 on there over the next few days then. it all looks a bit neglected under there. i think susan boyle must have had more undercarriage attention of the last few years than my car has!

 Re: White wall tyres
Russell, just had a look at the pics posted on Wednesday and if that's a Frome chassis, 4" down at the front might not be too good for the front dampers... ken Russell wrote: I've always wanted to paint a set of 2cv rims black and put an offset white circle with an '8' inside. How do you do it!? i do think its a frome chassis, ive not looked through the receipts since i bought the car but i am almost 100% that it is a frome. Am i right in thinking that they are not very good chassis?
