 Re: Twin exhausts.
Old-Nail From what I can figure out, the internal arrangement of a crossbox is designed to ensure that the exhaust gas path from each cylinder to the outlet is, as near as dammit, of equal length. That's one of the basic rules for ensuring best power output from any exhaust system, iirc. If you add another outlet at the other end of the crossbox, much of the benefit from the original design will probably be lost. Unless you open up the expansion box and rework its internal baffles as well? ken. Old-Nail wrote:  Ken would it be the same story if a modified (twin outlet) crossbox was used as well?

Except you forgot about that old '2 into 1' business. Mind you, the hand jiving rubber gloves trick wouldn't work as well with that. < http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xrdjxj3lMD0 > about 1 minute in... ken hjbharry wrote: Mine is equal from cylinder to outlets, so must be good

It works fine until he gives it full welly. p.p.s. Thread drift's coming along fine, I reckon. ) Macabry wrote: Hand jive......He he he believe it or not my wife teaches it.......
