 Re: French National 2010
Dont forget to drop by our Barbour 4x4 Marquee at the french national - we've got a lot going on!!!
We are hooking it up with our continental agents marquee - making it 14m x 5m of space!!!
Big TV will be on and BBQ
Also come and see our new chassis with "interchangeable" rear legs. Buy a barbour base chassis, then add either 4x2 legs - idea for raiding and then upgrade later to 4x4 legs!!!
Also new Quaife LSD available !!!
Ru has some unseen footage of our cars going off road, so drop in and say hi...
Limited number of new barbour design T-shirts available at the flea market on Friday!!
We get there Thursday morning!
Rich

 Re: French National 2010
I had a text off Aidan earlier. He and Nikki got as far as Brentford today before Jay's brakes seized on. Aidan had said they'd seemed to be binding ever since he changed the gearbox the other week, but on jacking the car up and spinning the front wheels all seemed fine.
Last I heard they were waiting for a recovery truck to bring them back to Derbyshire, where they'll swap all the stuff over into Nikki's car and try again...
Wish them luck!

Rumble's just text - they made it after driving through the night! They're catching the ferry they booked originally, so they're back on schedule!

 Re: French National 2010
Blimey, at least they aren't jumping on the ferry at 6am as they'd hoped, they'd be shattered!
Just off to the shops to pick up some euros and some odds and ends, but I think I'm packed and sorted.
Neil, we meeting at the port? Being a twat I left my satnav in the merc, so wherever we meet, make it somewhere I can find with a normal map please!

 Re: French National 2010
See you on the boat Wednesday morning I'm getting a bit nervous about all this now. Found out my cousin didn't return the pegs with the tent, the wipers are playing up and my bank is looking very empty! Not to mention my French is little more than "oui oui", "non" and "un crepe s'il vous plait". The french autoroute website reckons I'll be paying about twenty euro's in tolls and I'll spend about the same in petrol!
