Re: 1981 Acadiane Picked up & paid for the work on the van this morning. Came home & changed the wheels for the super slots & new tyres - i didn't fancy driving 12 miles on thread-bare tyres to Graham Wilson's: where i stripped the front off - in one (first time i've attempted it!) thanks to spanners excellent Dyane engine change thread in the tech section!  took about 40 minutes - a lot quicker than doing it apart a bit at a time!  with time slipping away & the fact i've not got king pin drifts & have never attempted them before i thought i'd let him Graham do it & while he's there he's going to change the rather thin brake discs. Today was my first proper drive - it seems to nip along ok - had it up to 110 kmh & it seemed sweet enough. There's a fair bit of free play in the steering... knackered rack?

Like this i hope....  because at the height its at at the minute we wont need to bring the t-base... we can all stand under the van.
