Lily on street view! trying to determine the date this would have been taken! definately on her original engine! can see that as theres a makeshift drip tray underneath  so between march 6th and may 14th last year!

It's a prototype styling-exercise by Carrozzeria Allemano (who went out of business in 1965). The company was responsible for some very beautiful vehicles, including my favourite, the Panhard Crepardi Dyna 750 Coupe (shown in the colour photo below). I'm 1/2-guessing here, but the Citroen design was probably created as a pitch at the time when Citroen was looking to update the 2CV. We ended up with the less beautiful, but more quirky, Ami and the Dyane models. Notice how similar the Citroen design is to the one in the black-and-white photo below, for Fiat. Re: Cool 2cv pictures 4 Striking similarity to the Fiat which incidentally, I like a lot too. Now I'm scratching my head over who chose the Ami 6 over the design above!  Just added this edit as I found this while looking through that coachbuilt site. Now how about this for a Panhard dyna!
