I'm not sure if it's even worth posting this, but the Shedouin's wings have cutouts for the rockers covers in order to perform this task with them in situ.

I wouldn't suggest chopping pristine Ami wings in order to do this but maybe if any of you have some dodgy wings held as a spare set it might be worth doing? After all, there are holes already in the wings for heater dump tubes.

A 2CV is another matter of course as it only takes minutes to remove the wings.

There are no dump tube holes in inner wings for early Amis, I'm not sure about later ones, I don't see that cutting holes will present a problem anyway?

Quite possibly, I'll have met up with Viking by then and also will have been to the French national, so will hopefully have picked up some ami bits for you by then.

brilliant, thanks alot. i've got a chap getting me a Break rear door, but some rear wings would be perfect - NS especially.

i did notice a pair of GRP rear wings on Leboncoin - quite pricey though and not sure i could do plastic....i say that now.....

nice one

I paid €1500, but they did come with an Ami6 attatched...

I'm *sure* i saw them for sale from a french parts supplier, but alas, as you suggest, they don't come cheap!
