Why Louis?

I have an internal hidden bungee for those just incase moments.
I am avoiding where ever possible drilling or weakening the bonnet as its GRP and cannot be replaced if its damaged.

Maybe on a metal bonnet i would.

Should be easy enough to bond some reinforcement on the inside of those stress points. Big penny washers on the fasteners.

It's what I've done. OK, I've got rubber fasteners on metal catches, but they've been ok so far

MOT passed 1st time without warings on Thursday so took him to the Easter camp! 300miles done ok with only minor faults.
Inner drive shaft gaitor has a tiny split spueing tonnes of grease out of it rust proofing everything in the engine bay including the exhaust.
Fumes from exhaust and burning grease!

its expensive to fill the tank but still getting 35mpg which tbh isnt bad for a 1300cc van being driven by me!
