 Re: French National 2010
I'll check next time I go to mums. Don't fancy traipsing across to Liverpool again to do the whole immediate passport jobbies.

 Re: French National 2010
Can i just check I have a few things right...?
A 2cvgb member called last night he came round ages ago to measure my boot of something whilst doing a rebuild and wanted some advice on the french national
he basically said he was going to the frenchie but wasn't going to camp (as he is a bit older) but is staying in a B+B locally to the meeting but he was going to pre register so i said yeh if you pre register then you can go in and out as you please in the morning afternoon evening etc then he said well it says A series are free entry so i said o yeh you pay per person so you can pre register yourself then the car just gets a sticker. Will this be cheaper for the man pre registering for the whole event camping etc too or will he be better just paying day visitor prices each day? or can he pay for the whole event but not actually camp?

 Re: French National 2010
I think to make sure there's no fuss on the gate he's better off prebooking or paying for a weeks entry on the gate and coming and going as he pleases. Some events have different rules on public or day visitors, Czech for example, we had to people-smuggle a couple who were unable to get in on the friday eve.

 Caen - 13/16th May.
Is anyone interested in a convoy to the above? I'm going via Hull to Zeebrugge overnight as the drive down from Manchester just doesn't compare with the Zeebrugge/Caen run. Be good to have some company. Let me know???

 Re: Caen - 13/16th May.
I agree it's a good deal more but after you factor in the ferry times and the costs of accommodation out and back plus the difference between an easy run on the M62 (even easier for you from Yorkshire) as opposed to the struggle of getting down to Newhaven or Portsmouth, it doesn't seem as bad. Whichever way you go, drive safely and keep the shiny side up. Look for "Alex", a grey and red D*lly when you're there.
