The more I look at it, the more I like the red. I'm starting to have nightmarish visions of mopping, clay bars and Auto-Glym. And chrome. And Resto-Cal.

I think I'm turning into a buffer. HELLLLPPPPPP!!!!!!!

If the paint was w*nk I'd be up for blasting some NATO Green or Satin Black on it....but it's not bad at all, I'm almost 100% decided on keeping the bodywork as-is for now, it's more than presentable. A healthy slam, black gloss rims.....Bob's yer dad's brother.

I must admit i'm glad you've changed your mind. Although i do like matt paint & the sound of your original plans, i did feel it was a shame to apply them to what is a fundamentally tidy 2cv.

I have a feeling gloss black rims & lowered ride height will be what 2010 will be remembered for!

2010??

I did gloss black rims in 2008 on my old red spesh and the old blue dyane sidey.

Im a man ahead of my time ;)

I agree with Neil there though, i like the new plan. Keep paint as is for now as its good.

I have to say im glad you bought this, as i was very tempted myself :)
