I think you've done completely the right thing. Plus, I'm guessing you'd never have found an MOT'd, taxed and running AK350 for what you've paid for the shell.

However, by your own admission, you have no sense

If you had any sense, you wouldn't buy an AK350. You'd buy one of these:

I sold my Ami Super and kept the AK350... What's that say about me?

Good man 350s are rare enough...

Especially Belgian M4-powered ones.

Mind you, Ami Supers aren't exactly thick on the ground... I _suspect_ there's probably more 350s than Supers in the UK.

The first parts are coming off the old Bamboo tomorrow, as certain bits have been sold. Shame to see it gone, it'd have been nice to show it off a bit more before breaking it up, but I'm hoping it's going to be worth it.

I'm really hoping to make it something cool, and really low...

I agree. Just loved it the way you had it. But time for everething. I´m sure you will do a COOL car. I´m very anxious to see the progress of it.

I didn't buy the van, and the Bamboo is in the garage, rusting away. It still looks cool but I think it's run out of Tax or MoT or insurance or something, anyway, I was thinking of getting it out this weekend, but I'm sure I stopped driving it for a reason, and I know the roof doesn't really work any more. Meh.

It's a right dog though (unless you want to buy it, in which case it's one of the nicest 2cv around, and is priced appropriately) and needs loads of little jobs doing. maybe i should spend tomorrow actually doing some of those jobs. Anybody want to buy me 4 wings and a roof? or weld a back panel in it? No? ah go on?
