Bit of work needed to the rear end of the chassis, and you won't be able to carry "proper van loads".

haha, or the floor gets bent! oops... must make that support hoop some time for jeremy, not sure having the engines and Gboxes helped the floors condition or shape either

I think it will fit somehow! take tools to take hire van doors off!

It will still be RHD, and it'll still carry the 1987 registration number. There's nothing dodgy about it, it's no different to reshelling it with an identical 80s body. If I were to use the vans carte Gris, re-MoT it with the vans chassis number and get it re-registered in the UK, to enable me to take advantage of the tax break for cars made before '73, then that'd be a bit naughty. But it doesnt come with a carte gris, so i can't do that.

I sort of get this feeling that the end of that sentance was gonna be.........

"because i would be if i had the doc's"

but obviously id never suggest that on a public-ish forum.

Nah, I wouldn't gain anything from doing that anyway.

This is the kind of thing I have in mind, thanks to Max Page (Graphic designer)

I chopped a model van about last night to get an idea of what I want it to look like.

The cash is posted off, the hire van arranged, hopefully it'll go smoothly...
