Yup defo. It'll be my burfday weekend! Got tickets at the national in St Ives.
Neil, how about a camp the weekend before down your way, and a cruise on the slow boat over to France?

 Re: French National 2010
Woo, I am getting all excited about FN now! I have just been looking into Portsmouth - Cherbourg prices, its looking pretty expensive though. Is anyone else thinking of going that way? Aiden, it'll be my birthday too, but on the 12th. Big, fun week!!! What fancy dress ideas could we have? Can I suggest a tin foil party night, costumes can change throughout the night, its lots of fun! I want to go now!!!

 Re: French National 2010
Plymouth to Roscoff? only problems are that it's a fairly long crossing - 7hrs & can be pretty expensive. Once off the other side it's 150 miles(ish) to Caen. You can have a few beers on the boat & sleep it off in a cabin!

 Re: French National 2010
Try LD Lines, Portsmouth-Le Havre. 8hr crossing, about £100 return.

The crossing was fine, and the price not too bad - but we swore blind that next time we'd get a cabin. Seriously. If people weren't wandering in and out loudly all night, they were snoring their backsides off...

For once I don't agree with that plan. I reckon we should flash-mob Neils house and go from plymuff.
