Doh, the old girl's being pressed into daily service for alittle while as everything else (except the good ol' BX) is broken  Should therefore I suspect be some updates forthcoming as bits fail/drop off/become even noisier etc so will update accordingly. P.S anybody want an aircooled Discovery?

Rachael bought a C5 the other week to replace the Disco-ugly but fundamentally good car (this on'e an estate too) but hers is a proper Friday afternoon car-up with your Slamboo Russ!

I'm hoping the gearbox makes the week out cos I cba to change it before the weekend-I'm hoping to go to the pub tonight In fairness to the Disco, it has got an "indicated" 191k miles under its belt and it's the water pump that I replaced back in December that's failed It's still a piece of s**t though

I went and hotwired the bampoo (left the keys at home, dinlow!) and it's knocking quite badly. Same thing as the ami, was fine when i stuck it in the shed, go and get it out and it needs an engine!

However, our C5 did manage to spontaneously combust 15 minutes after we'd dropped it off at the garage the other night.  Sadly, they managed to get it all under control with just a part of wiring loom fried
